Joshua Harward, MPT, Director
Josh Harward graduated from the University of Utah in 2003 with a Masters of Physical Therapy Degree.  He and his family moved to Arizona right out of school where he worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic for five years.  He also had the opportunity to work in an orthopedic specialty hospital for four years while in Arizona.  He returned to Utah in July 2008 and has been with RPT since that time.  
 
He enjoys spending time with family and playing golf in his spare time.

Elko, NV

Jeff Eckert, DPT, Director

Jeff Eckert is a physical therapist and clinic director of RPT’s Elko, Nevada location. He is a graduate from the University of Utah’s Physical Therapy class of 2007. Jeff’s education included two internships with an orthopedic and sports emphasis. His internship experience also included treating persons with spinal cord injuries and working with the geriatric population in a home health setting. Jeff has a particular interest in orthopedic and sports physical therapy.

 

Jeff’s duties include directing RPT’s Elko clinic in order to provide the Elko community with the best in physical therapy care. He provides sports medicine coverage to student athletes on the sidelines at Elko High School and provides the Elko area with home health services as well.

 

Jeff is an all-around sports enthusiast with a passion for road cycling. He rides and races locally and participates in area bicycle club activities, in addition to being involved with the Elko Senior Games. You might also find him on area golf courses trying to lower his handicap. Jeff is excited to be a member of the RPT team and strives to serve Elko with the most effective and personable physical therapy care in his area.

Sandy

Larry Fullmer, PT, CEO, Partner
Larry is a native of Utah, growing up in South Jordan and graduating from Bingham High School. He has been involved in sports his whole life. After attending SUSC on a football scholarship, he graduated from the University of Utah's Physical Therapy School.

Larry has worked in private practice since graduating, and is the owner of Registered Physical Therapists, Inc. His interests include sports medicine and orthopedic rehabilitation.

Larry is very active in the community with the Sandy Rotary Club and also serves as a board member for the Rocky Mountain Golden Gloves. He also is a referee for both amateur and professional boxing. In his spare time, you can find him in the outdoors, hunting and fishing.

Steve VerhaarenSteve Verhaaren, PT, OCS, COO, Partner

Steven R. Verhaaren graduated from the University of Utah's Division of Physical Therapy in 1994. Immediately following graduation, Steve started working for RPT and has served on the Board of Directors for RPT since 1995. In 1998, he became the Clinic Director of the Sandy office and started RPT's Industrial program shortly thereafter. Steve furthered his education in 2006 by completing studies which allowed him to earn his Orthopedic Clinical Specialist certification from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

Another professional interest for Steve is sports medicine, where he has volunteered sports medicine coverage to local high schools since 1994, and in particular, has helped Brighton High School's athletic programs beginning in 1997. He has enjoyed the association he has had with the various athletes and their families through the years.

Steve speaks Spanish fluently and enjoys time with his family, cycling, fly fishing, water sports, and other outdoor activities.

Stan K. Hirai, P.T.

Stan Hirai graduated from the Division of Physical Therapy at the University of Utah in 1991 and has worked for RPT since graduation. In the past, Stan has worked for RPT in various capacities including clinic director. Currently, Stan sits on the Board of Director’s for RPT and is the director of RPT’s wellness program. Stan has also enjoyed working with Skyline High School providing physical therapy coverage for the Eagles since 1995.

 

Stan enjoys spending time camping, bicycle riding, fly fishing and golfing.

TJ Stevenson, DPT, Director

TJ completed both undergraduate and graduate studies at the University of Utah, graduating with his Master’s degree from the Department of Physical Therapy in 2002. He took an opportunity to receive international experience in sports and orthopedic rehabilitation in Australia just prior to graduation.

 

TJ has been an RPT employee for 15 years, 10 of which have been as a licenses physical therapist. TJ has served as the clinical coordinator for continuing education for the past 8 years, assisting students in progressing clinical and practical knowledge regarding the field of physical therapy. His special clinical interests include foot and ankle pathology, shoulder and knee non/post-operative rehabilitation.

 

TJ recently completed post graduate studies, obtaining his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Utah’s transitional doctoral program and plans to complete advanced certifications courses in orthopedic rehabilitation.

 

As a Utah native, he currently resides in Salt Lake City with his family and 2 dogs. TJ enjoys snowboarding and surfing when conditions permit of course.

Brent Miller, MPT
 

Brent graduated from the Division of Physical Therapy at the University of Utah in 1999 and has worked for RPT since graduation. He enjoys the one on one interaction with patients that his work provides and gets great satisfaction in helping patients restore their health and improve their quality of life. In addition to providing patient care in the clinic, Brent directs RPT’s industrial medicine program which includes the administration of functional capacity evaluations, pre-employment screening, and ergonomic assessments. Additionally, Brent speaks Spanish fluently.

 

When he is not working, Brent enjoys spending time with this family, running, golfing and most other outdoor activities.

Casey Bishop, DPT, ATC, PES

Originally from Maine, Casey received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Franklin Pierce University in 2011 and has worked for RPT since graduation. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer and Performance Enhancement Specialist. Casey has experience working with athletes and treating orthopedic injuries of all ages.

In her spare time, Casey enjoys snowboarding, playing soccer, running, biking, hiking the mountain trails, and of course cheering on her favorite New England sports teams. Go Sox and Pats!

Jared Suker

Jared Suker, DPT, Director
Jared Suker graduated from the University of Utah’s Physical Therapy program with his Doctorate in 2008. He has been with RPT in Riverton since graduation.

 

He became the clinic director in 2011. He enjoys working with patients of all ages and conditions to provide them the best care possible. He was previously the Director of Home Health services for RPT and continues to treat patients in their homes to help them regain independence and function. He provides sports medicine coverage for athletes at Riverton High School. He performed extensive research in treatment of shoulder injuries as part of his Doctoral Project in graduate school.

 

Jared grew up in Salt Lake and enjoys mountain biking, road cycling, running, golfing, snowboarding and being with his family.

Mike Mathews, DPT, CSCS

Mike graduated from the University of Utah with his doctorate in May 2011 and has worked in RPT’s Riverton office since graduation. He enjoys providing orthopedic and sports medicine services in the Riverton area.

 

Mike played collegiate baseball at the University of the Pacific and University of Utah. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and has experience training professional athletes in various disciplines, especially throwing athletes. He currently provides sport specific analysis for many athletes and welcomes anyone who has interest in excelling at their particular sport. Mike also enjoys spending time with his wife and participating in all sports, especially hunting and mountain biking.

Drew Norwood, MPT, Director

Drew Norwood has been a physical therapist since August 2000. He graduated with a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Woman’s University in Dallas, Texas. He began working for RPT in September 2000 in the West Jordan clinic. In March 2005, he opened and became the director of the South Jordan clinic.

 

Drew is a native of Utah and went to Bingham High School. He has the opportunity and privilege of covering Bingham High School sports since 2001. He has attended many continuing education courses dealing with sports and running related injuries and rehabilitation, including the shoulder, hip, knee, ankle and lumbar spine. He is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 1998.

 

Drew enjoys playing all varieties of sports, mountain biking, hiking and being with his family. He recently discovered the joy and accomplishment of running half marathons. He has a desire to help people overcome their injuries and get back to what they like to do.

Jeanne Lajom, PT

Jeanne graduated from De La Salle University in 1988 and has worked for RPT since 2002. She specialized in Physical Therapy for Women’s Health and received CAPP certification in Pelvic Floor Dysfunction Treatment through the American Physical Therapy Association to treat urinary and fecal incontinence, pelvic floor pain and dysfunction. She is currently the director of Home Health Physical Therapy and director of Women’s Health for RPT. She loves working with her patients and developing personalized care plans. Jeanne is dedicated to helping patients decrease their pain, improve overall function and increasing quality of life.

 

Jeanne loves to spend time with her husband and two daughters. She and her husband are photographers and love to capture their fun memories of the outdoors- fishing, camping and traveling. Jeanne also loves working on her garden.

Travis Felix, DPT

Travis graduated from the University of Utah with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Prior to graduation he worked in the physical therapy field as an aide for 7 years.  He loves being able to work with people and help them understand how to return to maximum health. Travis is fluent in Spanish and frequently uses that skill during treatment.

Travis has always enjoyed participating in athletics and being active. When not spending time with his wife, daughter and dog, he enjoys cycling, playing golf and coaching sports.

Scott Benson, PT, CMO,

Scott

 Benson graduated with a degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Utah in 1995. Scott has been working for Registered Physical Therapy since 1996, and became the Director of RPT's West Jordan office 8 years ago. He is also the Marketing Director for RPT and has been a Board of Director member for 8 years.

Scott has enjoyed working for RPT and his goal is to carry out the highest quality of care for his patients. His focus is general Outpatient Orthopedic Rehabilitation. He enjoys the challenge each patient gives him and looks forward to positive outcomes.

He enjoys the outdoors, hunting, fishing, camping, tennis, and his new hobby, wake-surfing.

Greg BakerDPT, Director

Greg graduated from the University of Utah with a Masters of Physical Therapy degree in 2003. In 2007, he returned to further his education at the University of Utah, receiving a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT). He has a long work history with RPT, where he began working as a physical therapy aide in 1999. Following graduation from the University of Utah, he started his career as a physical therapist in the West Jordan office. He later became the director of home health services for RPT, in addition to his duties in the clinic. In 2008, Greg was promoted to the position of clinic director in the Riverton office. While in Riverton, he served the community by donating many hours of his personal time over a three year period, providing sports medicine services for Riverton High School’s athletic programs. In 2011, Greg transferred to West Jordan to become the clinic director .

Greg has strong clinical skills in orthopedic, sports medicine, and home health. He enjoys treating a variety of conditions, some of which include vertigo, rib dysfunction, sacroiliac  joint dysfunction, as well as shoulder and knee injuries.

 

Greg enjoys spending time in the outdoors camping with his wife and five children.

Jason WestJason West, MPT, CSCS
Jason West graduated from the University of Utah Physical Therapy program in 2002 with a Masters of Physical Therapy. He is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He recently completed his Masters of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah. Jason is well rounded in comprehensive orthopedic physical therapy. Jason enjoys providing sports medicine coverage to Copper Hills High School.

As a professional skier, he brings unique expertise to treatment of skiers of all abilities. He also brings experience to treating other outdoor athletes such as climbers, mountain bikers, runners, and kayakers.

Michael DePola, DPT

Mike was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley and enjoys many of the sporting and outdoor activities that the area allows.  Rock climbing and mountain biking are his favorite activities, but he also enjoys backpacking and camping with his family. Mike strives to get his patients back to participating in the activities they love. 

Mike DePola is a graduate of the University of Utah Physical Therapy class of 2012.  He began working for RPT as an aide in 2007 and now as a Physical Therapist in our West Jordan location.
